Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Leading Hand Wanted to Service and Repair Heavy Vehicle fleet, Looking for that next step? 4 days a week! $39ph + 17.5% Allowance

The team at Just Automotive Recruitment are providing assistance in the search for a heavy vehicle mechanic – Leading Hand to help service & maintain a large fleet of Heavy vehicles. This position will be Nightshift from 9:30pm to 8am, Monday to Thursday. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company with multiple depots across Australia.

THE PERSON:

Trade qualified heavy vehicle mechanic
Fleet maintenance experience would be ideal
Must be able to work autonomously and to deadline
A stable work history in a related role highly regarded
Some computer skills
Ability to follow fault finding procedures
Experience working with AC and heaters an advantage
Experience as a leading hand will be highly regarded

THE JOB:

Assess, diagnose and carry out repairs as necessary
Servicing, inspections and general fleet maintenance
Fleet of modern vehicles (Dennis Eagle, Acco, Isuzu, Iveco)
Organising parts
Closing job cards
Keeping fleet on the road – 99% KPI’s
Offering $39ph + 17.5% Shift Allowance
Leading the Nightshift team
Complete all required paper work
