Located in one of Queensland’s most popular and beautiful National Parks, the Bunya Mountains Tavern is seeking a Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our energetic and motivated team.

Leading our food and beverage team, you will be have the chance to creatively and collaboratively contribute to the excellent dining experience offered by our venue.

About the role:

Manage food and beverage operations to the highest standards
Lead whisky tasting sessions in an informative and engaging manner
Preserve and promote excellent levels of customer service
Design exceptional menus, purchase goods within budgeted guidelines and continuously make necessary improvements
Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively
Establish KPI’s and schedules, and maintain policies and procedures
Provide training and support to direct-reports and junior staff
Comply with all health and safety regulations
Perform additional duties as required

What we are looking for:

5+ years’ experience in similar role
Intimate knowledge of whisky and cocktails
Proven ability to coordinate and manage large functions and events
Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
Experience working in kitchen operations is desirable

Salary:

$56,000 p.a. + superannuation

We are looking for a highly-skilled, motivated individual who can work independently as well as leading a small team.
