In addition to an online business, Talisium also has a significant social impact focus taking unemployed and uneducated women out of poverty in Africa by providing them with face to face skills training and guaranteed jobs on graduation.

Our client is looking for a Head of Sales & Growth to establish Talisium as the essential and dominant provider of B2B and B2G health and medical related education.

As a member of the tight-knit senior team, you will be working closely with the founder and helping to shape the growth of Talisium globally. The Head of Sales & Growth will play a key role in pitching, strategising and developing new accounts. In this client-facing role, you will be called upon to identify new prospective customers, deliver compelling presentations, and independently drive revenue. You will also bring a creative and strategic approach and demonstrate a desire to learn and grow quickly. You will be comfortable pitching and selling to global clients both in person and using technology.

This role doesnt come with a neatly defined playbook for success. You should expect your responsibilities to change over time as both you and the company evolve. You will be able to take the initiative and help shape the sales strategy, systems and processes of the company.

This role is expected to contribute significantly to the top-line of the business, and quantifying your positive impact on growth should excite and motivate you. Bringing substantial experience and a track record of sales and business development in the health sector, you will be known and respected in the industry.

THE ROLE

* Autonomously develop and manage the companys sales pipeline
* Accurately develop, track, and forecast pipeline of new business opportunities
* Manage the entire sales process including global strategy, lead generation, product demonstration, negotiation, contracting, and transition to client services
* Develop and deliver powerful, compelling sales presentations to potential customers
* Generate, develop, and close sales with universities, governments, public and private health employers, international finance institutions, economic development agencies, global health and medical organisations, health and medical technology companies
* Contribute to the development of individual and corporate user engagement strategies to increase revenue through sales conversions and retain active users on the Talisium eLearning platform
* Cultivate lasting, trusted client relationships and scale Talisiums presence across large organisations
* Develop new ways for companies to leverage Talisium to solve their unique needs through case-based consultative selling

REQUIREMENTS

* 10+ years of experience in education technology / innovation / health product sales (SaaS sales preferred)
* Polished, articulate and credible in client communication
* Hustle -- proven track record of sales excellence
* Demonstrated consistent ability to meet and exceed revenue goals
* Substantial professional network in the health sector
* Skilled negotiator with proven track record in closing private and government clients
* Self-starter with a record of success generating new business opportunities
* Known as a trusted advisor to health executives and C-suite leaders
* Proven track record of selling technology solutions into the C-suite and below
* Strong analytical capabilities
* Start-up or scale-up experience
