Our NSW State Government client is responsible for furthering the Governments vision within arts and cultural sector facilitating community engagement, economic growth, innovation and diversity. They are currently seeking an experienced Projects and Engagement Coordinator to join their growing team in Sydney CBD. This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the planning and delivery of strategic projects and engagement activities that support the viability of arts, culture and screen sectors in NSW.

In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties:

Contribute to the planning, maintenance and delivery of strategic projects
Facilitate and implement designated internal and external stakeholder engagement strategies
Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
Convene roundtables, forums and events facilitating consultation, collaboration, engagement, negotiation and contribution of ideas
Monitor, evaluate and report on all aspects of project implementation including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures
Track, monitor and analyse trends, identifying risks and issues including fraud or criminal activity impacting program delivery
Report findings and make recommendations to support informed decision-making outcomes
Deliver expertise advice and guidance
Provide a wide range of administrative support functions including briefs, reports and presentation material

To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following:

Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management or relevant field
Demonstrated Placemaking experience within a Government context
Previous Stakeholder Engagement within the Creative Arts Sector experience highly desirable
Impeccable stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
