ABOUT THE ROLE.......

Colcon are looking for a competent Trades Assistant /Labourer who is hands on and willing to undertake all tasks to get a job done. This position will suit a well-organised person with a positive can do attitude who is able to complete tasks in a timely manner.

ABOUT YOU.......

This is a very hands on construction job, to be considered for this role you will need to have the following:

Experience / Skills

Minimum 3 years working experience in the Construction industry
Prepared to do manual work and heavy lifting
Assist trades people
Experience with General maintenance
Trenching, landscaping and earthworks
Keeping a clean, tidy and safe working environment
Able to follow work schedules and tasks
Be flexible to adapt to changing schedules

Qualifications

Current and valid Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
Current ABN and White card

Desirable Qualifications

Forklift and/or truck or equipment licences desirable
First Aid Training and Certification

Your Attributes

Be a self-starter who is able to work unsupervised
Strong work ethic
Demonstrate an utmost professional and confidential nature
Be prepared to undertake civil and steel work
Have a reliable and stable work history
Non-smoker desirable
Display a willingness and desire to go above and beyond; and
Be able and willing to travel occasionally to Alice Springs if required.
