This is a great opportunity for a casual A Grade Electrical Technician to join a highly motivated customer-focused team that is poised for growth in 2021.

We seek a Trade qualified Electrician to join the team based at the warehouse in Port Melbourne to apply their trade knowledge and expertise to the assembly of Parking Access Systems. This is a casual position to assist during busy periods, and when a flow of systems arrive.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Assemble, wire and test electrical Parking Access Systems.
Test, repair and maintain electrical equipment ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Apply trade and job knowledge in the assembly of electrical equipment and in the interpretation of electrical schematics and other documentation.
Reporting to the Office Manager on progress of jobs
Managing other apprentices onsite
Liaising with our client to ensure a good relationship
Ensuring our high level of OH&S is maintained on site at all times

You will be provided with full training on these Parking Access Systems, previous experience is highly regarded but not essential.

ABOUT YOU...

The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:

Prior Electrical A-Grade qualified experience
Determination to provide exceptional customer service and a proven track record for quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with existing clients
A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude. Solutions based mindset, not Problems
Ability and aptitude to problem-solve confidently and competently.

Ideally, you will have experience in a similar role and hold the following:

Trade certificate and relevant experience with at least 5 years in the field
Qualified Victorian A Grade Licence
Current Vic Drivers Licence
OH&S Induction Training for the Construction Industry
