About the Role …

We are looking for a passionate and experienced COOK who has a bright, outgoing personality and exceptional kitchen service skills.

Key responsibilities include:

General Cleaning duties within kitchen and food preparation areas
Cleaning of cooking utensils and equipment
Scullery – cleaning plates, bowls, cutlery etc
Some food preparation tasks
Assisting others who are cooking
Assembly and preparation of ingredients for cooking
Completes all food/ingredient preparation tasks
May supervise and direct kitchen hand team members
Cooking meals for guests

About you …

We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a place people love to be. Someone who enjoys bartending and likes to put a smile on people's faces with amazing drinks and great customer service.

You should have good operational and kitchen skills to make good food. Follow recipes and procedures and, work well in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
Excellent organisational skills
A keen eye for detail
Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision
Trustworthy and reliable

Experience and Qualifications

A minimum of 1 year as a Cook in a high volume restaurant
