Alwyndor is an Adelaide based not-for-profit provider of Residential Living, Home Support and Healthy Living services located in the seaside suburb of Hove. Alwyndor is the result of the legacy and generosity of Dorothy Cheater who bequeathed the property to the City of Holdfast Bay.

About the role

We are seeking committed and passionate Home Care Assistant's to join our ever-growing Home Support team. In this role you will provide high quality, reliable home based care services to older people in their own homes in the community. You will assist clients with domestic assistance including; laundry, shopping, food safety, meal preparation and transport in accordance with coordinator requests.

This role requires people who are excellent communicators who have a positive attitude/friendly nature with a flexible approach that enables you to build lasting relationships based on trust and commitment with all stakeholders, our clients, their families and members of your team.

To be considered for this role you must have:

Proven ability to provide a range of home care services, including domestic assistance, laundry, shopping, meal preparation and social support;
Demonstrated knowledge of cleaning processes and chemical applications;
Proven understanding of cross contamination risks and the importance of hygiene;
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team and
Flu vaccination administered in 2020.
