We are seeking:

A motivated Senior HR Advisor to join our friendly and focussed manufacturing operations based in Canning Vale. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Services, you will have a strong HR Generalist background with the ability to engage stakeholders, whilst collaboratively embedding a safe work culture, driving employee engagement and delivering value-add HR support on all people matters.

This role will be well suited to an experienced HR generalist who can work autonomously and who enjoys working at an operational level. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, with 100 FTEs, in a role that offers diversity and challenge.

You will be able to:

Conduct end to end recruitment and onboarding of new starters, terminations and other employee movements.
Facilitate the delivery of key HR programs: annual performance and remuneration reviews, succession planning & talent management, incentive plans and other related Reward and Benefit programs.
Develop, lead and support the delivery of a suite of HR Projects to deliver business value – particularly design & implement high performing culture plans and initiatives.
Provide site leadership with advice on the full range of employment and industrial relations matters, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and mitigation of risk.
Conduct or support Line Managers to undertake investigations in relation to incidents of misconduct or under-performance, employee grievances and procedural breaches.
Generate and interpret key HR metrics and reports to improve HR and site performance.
Develop HR database which can be used in the tendering process.

What we are looking for:

Demonstrable track record in building a high performing culture.
Ability to work in a fast - paced environment with multiple deadlines.
Extensive experience in providing advice and support on all Employee Relations matters.
Proven track record in developing and executing strategies which attract and retain the best talent.
Minimum 5+yrs. practical and progressive experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within the manufacturing, mining or other heavy industry.
Demonstrable track record in providing HR leadership with a strong understanding of the commercial & financials constraints of a business.
Experience in providing HR input in the preparation of high value tenders for Tier 1 mining sector clients.
Relevant current HR qualification, (minimum Diploma in HR Mgt).
Ability to build effective interpersonal relationships at all levels across the business.
Exemplary written, verbal and presentation skills.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The successful candidate will be offered a remuneration package commensurate with their experience and the current market – as well as free on-site parking and access to the company wide monthly bonus scheme after a qualification period. Candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including a Drug and Alcohol screening and will need to be able to provide a valid clear National Police Clearance.
