About the role

Reporting into the Board Secretary, the Administration Officer provides a broad range of business and administrative support to the Board Secretariat and the Office of the Chief Executive. Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team, this role will assist the board secretariat in helping to support the functioning of the WorkSafe board, sub committees and legislated stakeholder committees. This role will also:

Assist with the management and coordination of meetings, agendas, papers and follow up items
Provide back up support to the CE Office including managing the CE correspondences and briefings
Provide and maintain a high level of customer service and administrative support to internal and external stakeholders

About you

You are a polished and professional administrator with extensive experience working in a Board management and/or Chief Executive Support environment. You are highly organised, with a keen eye for detail and have impeccable communication and stakeholder management skills. You are a team orientated person who enjoys making an impact on your team and stakeholders. You will also possess:

An ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
The ability to solve problems before or after they arise
A strong understanding of the nature, maturity and operating style of an executive function
Demonstrated ability to liaise on a professional level with Senior Executives and Board Members including a diverse client/stakeholder group
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and TRIM
Experience in Board Paper IT platforms (e.g. Diligent) will be highly regarded
