The Role:

We are seeking a pro-active, goal orientated individual to undertake the position of Team Leader Civil/Structural to assist in the continued development and growth of a high performing Brownfields and Greenfields team within the Mining, Industrial and Infrastructure markets.

Utilising your strong leadership and management skills you will provide discipline specific engineering services to Worley and its clients while providing technical support and supervision within the Civil and Structural discipline and other disciplines.

Responsibilities will include:

* Deliver discipline specific engineering services that meet Worley, its clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
* Market and Sell Civil and Structural and other disciplines skills and capability to the Newcastle and Hunter Valley Region and wider East Coast Region
* Initiate, manage and if required supervise engineering assignments on projects to ensure quality, time and budget requirements are met
* Provide specialist technical support, supervision and advice to the discipline and project teams; participate in peer reviews; actively participate in the Worley Communities of Practice; and consult with relevant resources as required
* Responsible for leading and growing a team of approximately 10 engineers and designers

About You:

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

* A recognised engineering degree in Civil Structural Engineering or equivalent
* Ability to gain or have NPER/CPENG and other qualifications such as RPEQ will be highly regarded
* Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in Civil Structural Engineering in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams
* Established Personnel Client base within the Newcastle/ Hunter Valley Regions or other Regions with a Seller Doer delivery focus to grow the team
* Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and able to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its clients
* Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and discipline specific software including Spacegass and Strand 7
* Highly effective people management skills such as leadership, team, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring and supervisory skills
