Medico-Legal Admin / Personal Assistant needed for IMMEDIATE START

This fast growing, clinician-led company provides high quality medico-legal services to a large network of law firms and insurance companies. We provide medical assessments for workers compensation, personal injury, medical negligence, return to work and fitness for work, motor vehicle accidents and related services to a variety of clients including lawyers, insurance companies, self-insured employers and government agencies.

We pride ourselves on providing the market with both quality of impartial reports and service to clients - facilitating the link between medicine and the law.

The provider is seeking a professional, highly self-motivated and organised Administration Assistant/Personal Assistant. They will need to exhibit exceptional time management skills, the ability to multi-task experienced. The role will require you to work directly with a Medical Specialist and you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of administrative duties. You must be reliable and capable of managing their workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

High attention to detail in a professional industry.
Ability to prioritise and use initiative.
Diary management – personal and clinic related
Manage personal and family appointments.
Coordinate executive communications including taking phone calls, responding to emails and acting as a first point of contact on behalf of the doctor.
Prepare internal and external corporate documents for industry partners
Monitoring and managing doctor’s email and phone number
Maintain a filing system on online platforms
Schedule business meetings and appointments
Organise bookings and appointment referrals across various online portals
Liaise with partner companies to encourage and promote a strong business relationship
Book and arrange travel, transport and accommodation where needed

Must have:

Prior experience in either medical field/administration/PA type role
Advance Microsoft Office skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Be able to work independently without supervision
A friendly and professional demeanour
Excellent communication
Familiar with software systems such as medical booking platforms, online calendar apps, Zoom, Dropbox, phone app.
Must be available to work Monday and Wednesday in clinic.

The personal assistant will be required to attend the Clinic, twice per week (Monday and Wednesday) to manage reception duties. The rest will be work from home.
