The role:

The Field Service Engineer provides technical support to internal and external customers through both on-site service and contract work, with new and existing clients.

Working in a team environment, the position also supports sales with new installs and commissioning, customer assistance, analysis, input, and solutions development that meet customer needs.

Essential Skills, attributes, and experience:

Related engineering degree
4+ years’ experience with control applications, service and project testing, installation and commissioning.
Strong IT orientation
Experience with PLC and Control Systems on a commonly used platform (e.g. Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Honeywell, Yokogawa, ABB)
Experience with process control instrumentation.
A strong Customer focus and orientation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to plan and manage tasks effectively
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Ability to travel, to attend regional client sites, and work interstate from time to time.
Results / outcome driven

Well regarded but not essential includes:

Experience in Plant Information Management Systems (PIMS), and/or DCS
TUV Certifications
