Manager, Contaminated Sites & Waste Team

$140,000 - $160,000 + super

Managing the group for the firm’s CLM & Waste business line.
Team management is the first directive of this role but also managing clients, workloads, teamwork and some billables.
International brand who are relatively new in Australia by headed by a local, well-known heavyweight in the Melbourne environmental scene.
The office in Melbourne currently sits at around 30 staff with 50 nationally. They are a well-oiled team who have continued to see healthy profit margins roll in.
The current Environment Manager is moving into a different role in the firm to balance the work alongside family commitments.
$140,000 - $160,000 neg on experience.

Senior Principal w/ Reputation in Contaminated Sites VIC

$180,000 - $250,000

Joining an international brand who are particularly strong in water and environmental outcomes.
They have been consistently hiring through the Covid period as they have incredibly strong workloads both now and in the projected pipeline.
A group that is very technically minded handling complex and highly challenging projects. They tend to steer away from the stock standard “tick & flick” CLM work and have a larger appetite for high risk / challenging works.
This role will continue to build on the growth mindset they have enjoyed working with a great, technical team with great clients – this is by no means a cold build.
Will suit someone who has a reputation in the market / fancies themselves a client facing professional and has leadership qualities, i.e. people want to follow you.
In turn, if you have a team that now or overtime, you would like to bring into the fold they are happy to support this.

Principal Environmental Consultant – Rainmaker in a storm?

A Melbourne boutique of around 30 staff who very successfully spun off the back of a major global firm.
This isn’t the first time this Director has built a firm. In the past, he built a firm and successfully sold it to a major global. He is now doing it again and has gone very well in the past few years.
Whilst there is plenty of work coming in, he is looking for another high-level principal to continue / augment the growth of the firm.
This will suit a rainmaker with the ability to attract and win work, a good market reputation and the long game in mind. Whilst not on the immediate cards, this firm is on a pathway to sell as the eventual goal. If you’re looking to place yourself in a position to capitalise on what you bring to the business in the sale, this is an excellent opportunity.
Structurally, this role also provides a lot more fluidity than most of the bigger firms. Lower red tape, the ability to chase what you want how you want to chase it and no one size fits all systems in place to hold you back. The Director’s mentality is all about getting good people in and letting them do what they do best.
