The Sovereign Hotel Cooktown is located at 128 Charlotte St, Cooktown QLD, 4895. We are looking for a fulltime Restaurant Supervisor to join of team.

We are looking for a fulltime employee under the occupation of Restaurant Supervisor. We are offering a yearly salary of $64993.50 Per Annum plus 10.5% Superannuation to the successful applicant. You will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and training the food and beverage staff and ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered to all guests. You are also responsible for supervising once or more of the restaurant staff at any one time as well as training lower-level staff, and you will report to the Restaurant Manager. 

The successful applicant must be able to fulfill the criteria set out below:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

-         Overseeing, training / instructing, and coordinating food and beverage personnel.

-         Keeping track of employee rosters, performance and any complaints that may arise.

-         Setting up any necessary displays and displaying stock as per business requirements including advertising any promotions / specials.

-         Scheduling reservations in the correct manner, welcoming visitors and seating them.

-         Following suitable health and safety practices within the workplace.

-         Interact with clients and co-workers in a clear and productive manner.

-         React professionally and promptly to customer requests.

-         When appropriate, inform clients about the business service and amenities.

-         Contribute to upholding the Business standards for customer service.

-         Make sure the workspace conforms with the highest standard of cleanliness.

-         Ensure that consumers are attended to in a courteous and professional manner.

-         Cleaning bar spaces, glassware, and maintain equipment organisation.

-         Making and combining a variety of upscale beverages.

-         Communicating with manager to arrange for efforts to be coordinated with those of other establishment departments.

-         Attend to any additional unrelated tasks as assigned by the employer, business, or Manager.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

-         Must have a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience.

-         Must have a minimum of Certificate IV is hospitality.

-          

REQUIRED SKILLS:

-         Outstanding Customer service skills.

-         Conflict Resolution Skills.

-         Lead by example at all times.

-         Effective communication skills.

-         The ability to multitask while keeping a high level of attention to detail.
