Project Manager

Our client URGENTLY requires a Project Manager for a 3 year fixed-term permanent role in Cooktown, QLD.

The Project Manager will manage and deliver projects and contracts across the range of municipal infrastructure within the Shire and to comply with workplace health and safety obligations.

Skills and Experience required includes:

• Tertiary qualifications in project management and/or Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification in a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in the construction industry, preferably in a local government environment and in the capital works project delivery field.
• Demonstrated experience in project management principles and practices.
• Demonstrated experience and a detailed knowledge of contract preparation, administration and supervision.

Government experience would be highly regarded.
