Work experience insurance

I've had several questions about arranging insurance for a work experience placement. It's sad when you cannot even work for nothing but I also understand that companies cannot agree to have people around the place who are not insured.

Work experience can be a great entry point for school leavers and graduates. It's also useful for career switchers and those trying to get back into the workforce after an absence or those resettling from overseas. So far I've only found one organisation that provides work experience cover - I C Frith & Associates. I met them at a career show and found out they have been providing work experience cover for some years in all states and territories for a range of occupations. This includes office workers, IT&T, hairdressers, some roles working with animals and engineers. For more info, visit the website: www.icfrith.com.au.

I have only found one insurance company so far who offers work experience insurance - I ran into them at The Courier-Mail CareerOne Expo - www.icfrith.com.au - go to the website, click on Products and Services then Work Experience.

Consider arranging your own work experience insurance cover. So far I've only found one organisation that provides work experience cover - ran into them at a career show -  I C Frith & Associates.
